The European Commission has proposed legislation on web accessibility, the so called web accessibility directive. Funka is leading a consortium in a study aiming to propose recommendations for a monitoring methodology that can be used to control the directive once in place.
On November 20, Funka and partners held an open workshop presenting presents the interim study results. Relevant stakeholders were invited and the workshop was recorded so that you can listen to it online.
The study is called SMART 2014/0061 Monitoring methodologies for web-accessibility in the European Union. It started in January 2015 and is led by Funka. The European Disability Forum and Empirica are partners, W3C and COWI are subcontractors.
